Construction
Early works and site preparation
Ahead of civil works and the construction of the first 62 homes as proposed as part of SSDA1a, a series of early works are required to be undertaken to adequately prepare the site.
These works include:
• Site remediation – safely removing and recycling unsuitable material from site in line with regulatory standards to ensure the land is suitable for future use.
• Service relocations and enabling infrastructure – relocating essential services such as overhead electrical cables along Ashford Avenue and Sydney Water sewer lines within and around the site.
All works will be managed under approved environmental controls to minimise noise, dust, and disruption, and coordinated with authorities to ensure safety and maintain essential services.
Contractor appointment
Mirvac has engaged TRN Group as Principal Contractor to undertake Early Works to prepare the site for future civil works and home construction. Early Works commenced in late-2025 and include site-wide remediation, service relocations and enabling infrastructure works which are expected to be complete by mid-2026.
Whilst TRN is the principal contractor managing the site for this portion of works, we will continue to oversee the project and work closely with TRN to ensure impacts and disruption are minimised wherever possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as works progress.
